Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as a steward of the PMG brand through support of the brand promise, vision, position and personality, and help achieve stated business goals for PMG
  • Continue to develop and continuously strengthen brand positioning in the market
  • Contribute to brand, marketing and PR strategy discussions
  • Assist hospital marketing staff in development and execution of strategic marketing plans to achieve pain clinic objectives
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers
  • Plan and conduct market research to identify level of satisfaction and opportunities
  • Provide post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs
  • Help establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials and events
  • Target, promote and call on existing physician groups and develop positive relationships with new physician groups to achieve customer objectives
  • Measure and communicate marketing effectiveness

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing/PR/communications or related field
  • Successful experience in marketing, PR or communications preferred
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Computer literate with proficiency with Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and social media resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects and independently problem-solve in a timely fashion
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to consistently follow through and meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate and utilize data to monitor effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Able to flex work hours as needed

Galion, Ohio (September 1, 2011) – Galion Community Hospital and Pain Management Group announce the addition of Holli Ujvari, CNP to the Pain Management Clinic. Ms. Ujvari will also continue to provide family practice to adults and children five years and older for the medical practice of Dr. James Goudy in Galion where she has practiced for the past year.

Ms. Ujvari has served as an RN for over five years with her most recent service including working for GCH for the past three years while attaining her American Academy of Nurse Practitioner’s board certification as a CNP.

Ms. Ujvari received her Master of Science in Nursing through the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. Her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing was achieved through MedCentral College of Nursing in Mansfield and her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Bowling Green State University.

“I’m excited about working with Drs. Gould and Parikh and to provide care to the residents of Galion and surrounding communities,” said Ms. Ujvari. “I look forward to building lasting relationships with patients and helping to return them to a happy and productive life uninterrupted by pain.”

A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is a registered nurse (RN) who has completed advanced education (a minimum of a master’s degree) and training in the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions, including chronic illnesses. CNPs provide a broad range of healthcare services and maintain close working relationships with physicians. CNPs spend quality time with patients in an effort to learn which treatment options are best for them. CNPs often serve as a patient’s regular healthcare provider.

According to Dr. Ned Lakshmipathy, founding physician of Pain Management Group and Midwest Pain Treatment Physicians, “We are very excited to add a nurse practitioner of such a high caliber to our staff. Pam has already proven that she can relate very well to our patients, listening to their concerns and giving them a thorough evaluation. She will definitely be a strong asset to our group.”

Snyder has 13 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, as well as cardiovascular and cancer care, and will see patients at the Norwalk and Port Clinton locations under the supervision of Dr. Adam J. Hedaya. Snyder is a certified nurse practitioner with the Ohio Board of Nursing. Interventional Pain Physician to Begin at Galion Community Hospital Pain Management Center

GALION – August 26, 2011 – Dr. Ripal Parikh, board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician, is joining the Pain Management Center at Galion Community Hospital. Dr. Parikh will be joining Drs. Robert Gould and Ned Lakshmipathy who currently practice in the Pain Management Center and will begin seeing patients on September 1, 2011.

Dr. Parikh obtained his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. He was fellowship-trained in pain medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and is a graduate of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Alliance of the Baylor College of Medicine and University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical Center. Governor Kasich signs House Bill 93

Ohio House Bill 93 (‘pill mill’ bill), signed into law by Governor Kasich Friday, May 20, aims to combat prescription drug abuse by reducing the prevalence of pill mills.

Pill mills market themselves as “pain clinics” but operate in a manner far different from the balanced approach to pain. Pill mills are playing a major role in accelerating and exacerbating the prescription drug addiction epidemic and accidental death by pain medication in the United States.

In Ohio alone, four residents die every single day from prescription drug overdose. In addition, accidental drug overdose by prescription drugs is the leading cause of accidental death in Ohio, surpassing car crashes.

Pain Management Group has a balanced approach to pain, treating patients through a combination of diagnostics, minimally invasive outpatient procedures, physical modalities and therapy, while decreasing the focus on prescription medication. If prescription drugs are included in a balanced pain treatment plan, the focus becomes managing those medications for optimal patient benefit.

  • Grants permission for the Bureau of Works Compensation to access OARRS

Dr. Kindl, who joined the practice in 2007, is board certified in anesthesiology and a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Kindl completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Toledo Medical Center and fellowship in interventional pain management at University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
