Fisher-Titus Medical Center Unveils New NOMS Pain Center

Fisher-Titus Medical CenterSandusky, Ohio – Fisher-Titus Medical Center (FTMC) is hosting an open house for the grand opening of their newly renovated Pain Management Center located in the Northern Ohio Medical Specialists (NOMS) building at 2500 W. Strub Road in Sandusky, according to Patrick J. Martin, President and CEO of Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

The public is invited to take a “sneak peek” at the new center on Wednesday, September 19, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

Guests can expect a tour of the area, which includes patient rooms, nursing stations and a large waiting area. “This new space has so many benefits,” states Deb Reed, Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. “Among those, it is very spacious and allows for easier patient access.”

The FTMC Pain Management Center at NOMS offers diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, arthritis, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, nerve damage, muscle pain, pelvic pain and more. The FTMC Pain Management physicians and clinical staff are trained to provide the most advanced treatments in the management for pain.

Guests will also be able to enjoy refreshments, collect educational information, and take home a giveaway.

“We encourage people stop by and take a look,” adds Reed. “It’s a nice way to learn about these services, and to familiarize yourself with options, in case you find yourself needing care in the future.”

Fisher-Titus Medical CenterFisher-Titus Medical Center and Pain Management Group in coordination with Samaritan Regional Health System, announce the Tuesday, January 17, 2012 opening of a new pain management clinic bringing comprehensive, primary care pain services to  Ashland, Ohio.

The Fisher-Titus Pain Management Clinic, located at 2212 Mifflin Avenue, Suite 220, Ashland, Ohio 44805, will be open Tuesdays to provide advanced and comprehensive treatments for patients suffering from chronic and acute pain.

Interventional Pain Specialists Zach Zumbar, M.D. and Adam Hedaya, M.D. will direct and diagnosis treatment at the Ashland office. Dr. Hedaya, board certified in pain management, joined the medical staff at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in 2009. Dr. Zach Zumbar, who recently completed fellowship-training in pain management at the Cleveland Clinic and earned his doctor of medicine from The Ohio State University, recently joined the Fisher-Titus Pain Management Center team.

“We offer some of the most advanced treatments available today for pain management. These treatments are more tolerable and less invasive than in the past,” said Dr. Zumbar. “Millions of people suffer from chronic pain that affects their daily activities, pain management is proven and effective at getting people back to a normal life,” he added.

If patients who are seen at the Pain Management Center office in Ashland require interventional procedures, they will be referred to the Pain Management Center at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

“We started the Fisher-Titus Pain Management Center in 2009 as a way to provide our patients the highest-quality pain management care without leaving our community,” said Fisher-Titus President Patrick Martin. “We could not be more pleased with our partnership with Pain Management Group and our ability to help more people through this new clinic,” he continued.

Fisher-Titus works in partnership with Findlay Ohio-based Pain Management Group in providing primary care pain management services.

Fisher-Titus Medical Center is expanding services of its Pain Management Center to include an office in the Northern Ohio Medical Specialists (NOMS) building at 2500 W. Strub Road in Sandusky, according to Patrick J. Martin, president and CEO of Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

The Fisher-Titus Pain Management Center offices at NOMS will open December 15 to serve residents of Erie County and surrounding areas with advanced and comprehensive treatments for chronic and acute pain. The office will initially be located in Suite 350 at NOMS.

Interventional Pain Specialist Dr. Adam Hedaya will direct diagnosis and treatment at the Fisher-Titus Pain Management Center at NOMS along with Dr. Zach  Zumbar who recently completed fellowship-training  in pain medicine at the Cleveland Clinic.  Dr. Hedaya, board certified in pain management,  joined the medical staff at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in 2009 and at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton in 2010.  Dr. Zach Zumbar, who earned his doctor of medicine from The Ohio State University, recently joined the Pain Management teams at both Fisher-Titus and Magruder.
